As of 16 October, Russian occupiers have suffered up to 65,000 casualties among their military personnel since the beginning of the full-scale war against Ukraine.

Details: Total combat losses of the Russian forces between 24 February and 16 October 2022 are estimated to be as follows [figures in parentheses represent the latest losses – ed.]:
- 65,000 (+300) military personnel;
- 2,529 (+5) tanks;
- 5,193 (+14) armoured combat vehicles;
- 1,589 (+7) artillery systems;
- 365 (+0) multiple-launch rocket systems;
- 186 (+0) air defence systems;
- 268 (+0) fixed-wing aircraft;
- 242 (+0) helicopters;
- 1,224 (+14) operational-tactical UAVs;
- 316 (+0) cruise missiles;
- 16 (+0) ships/boats;
- 3,959 (+8) vehicles and tankers;
- 143 (+1) special vehicles and other equipment.
The Russian forces have suffered the greatest losses on the Kryvyi Rih and Bakhmut fronts.
