Ukrainian Armed Forces hit 4 command posts and 15 areas where Russian forces were concentrated – General Staff report

Over a 24-hour period on 14 October, Ukrainian soldiers repelled Russian attacks in Donbas, and also hit 4 command posts, 15 areas where Russian manpower, weapons and military equipment were concentrated.

Quote: "The enemy does not stop striking the critical infrastructure and civilian facilities of our country. During the past 24 hours, the infrastructure and civilians of Kharkiv, Kostyantynivka, Soledar, Bakhmut, Chumaky, Lebedynske, Zaporizhzhia, Davydiv Brid and Mirne were affected. Dnipropetrovsk Oblast and the city of Ochakiv were hit by Iranian-made attack UAVs. Our defenders managed to shoot down six out of nine.
The enemy continues to use cruise, aviation, anti-aircraft guided missiles and attack UAVs for its crimes.
Over the past 24 hours, the occupiers have launched six missile and thirty air strikes, and also carried out forty-eight MLRS attacks."
Details: The situation in the Volyn and Polissia fronts has not changed significantly.
Russian forces fired on other fronts:
- On the Sivershchyna front – from rocket artillery, in the area of Rozhkovychi settlement of Sumy Oblast. The occupiers also conducted reconnaissance in the area of Bleshnya in Chernihiv Oblast using an UAV, which was shot down;
- On the Slobozhanshchyna front – from mortars and tubed artillery, in the areas of the settlements of Hatyshche, Vovchanski Khutory, Starytsa and Dvorichne;
- On the Kramatorsk front – from mortars, tubed and rocket artillery, in the areas of Verkhnokamianske, Vyshneve, Hrekivka, Hryhorivka, Zarichne, Kovalivka, Makiivka, Nadiya, Novovodyane, Olhivka, Pershotravneve, Rozdolivka, Tabaivka, Terny and Yampolivka settlements;
- On the Bakhmut front – from tanks, mortars, tubed and rocket artillery, in the areas of the settlements of Bilohorivka, Yakovlivka, Soledar, Bakhmutske, Bakhmut, Opytne, Klishchiivka, Odradivka, Zelenopillia, Kurdyumivka, Mayorsk and Niu-York;
- On the Avdiivka front – from tanks and artillery, in the areas of Kamianka, Tonenke, Avdiivka, Pervomaiske, Vodyane, Opytne, Nevelske, Maryinka and Krasnohorivka settlements;
- On the Novopavlivka and Zaporizhzhia fronts, Russian forces did not conduct offensive actions but continue to engineer defensive lines and positions. They fired using mortars, tubed and rocket artillery on more than 20 settlement districts. Among them were Velyka Novosilka, Vremivka, Zolota Nyva, Vuhledar, Pavlivka, Mykilske and Novodanilivka.
- More than thirty settlements along the line of contact were hit by fire on the Pivdennyi Buh front.
According to updated information, the destruction of Russian manpower and equipment over the previous days in Zaporizhzhia Oblast has been confirmed.
Thus, as a result of the effective actions of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the areas near the settlements of Orihiv, Kinski Rozdory and Tokmak, about 100 occupiers were injured. This included more than 25 who had just been called up. Four S-300 systems were destroyed near Berdyansk.
The Ukrainian Armed Forces have successfully repelled Russian attacks in Donetsk Oblast. In particular, in the areas of the settlements of Berestove, Yakovlivka, Bakhmutske, Bakhmut, Opytne, Ivanhrad, Spirne, Nevelske, Maryinka, Bilohorivka, Terny, Novomykhailivka and Krasnohorivka.
During the past 24 hours, the Ukrainian Air Force carried out about 30 strikes. It was confirmed that 25 areas where Russian weapons and military equipment were concentrated, as well as 3 anti-aircraft missile systems belonging to the Russian forces, were destroyed. In addition, Ukrainian air defence units shot down 9 UAVs.
Missile forces and artillery struck 4 command posts, 15 areas where manpower, weapons and military equipment were concentrated, 12 warehouses with ammunition, 1 artillery installation and 20 other important targets during the day.
