Russia already in atmosphere of its defeat and hopelessness – Zelenskyy

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy is convinced that Russia is already plunged into a mood of defeat and hopelessness.

Quote: "Look how worried the enemy is. Listen to what they ask the leader of these terrorists and how they ask him [questions] when he does go out to meet people, journalists. Russia is already in the atmosphere of its defeat, already in the atmosphere of hopelessness for itself.

Yes, they still have people they toss on the offensive. They have weapons, missiles and Shahed UAVs, which they use against Ukraine. They still have the opportunity to terrorize our cities and all Europeans, to blackmail the world. But they have no chance. And they won’t. Because Ukraine is moving forward."

Details: The President has also expressed gratitude to all Ukrainians who have wished soldiers and each other all the best on Defenders Day, as well as those who have spent this day in battle and on guard duty.

"And I would like to thank everyone who today, quietly, silently, even in their hearts, but together with the whole country celebrated the Day of Defenders of Ukraine, while being in the temporarily occupied territory or forcibly taken to the territory of Russia," he emphasised.

Previously: Russian President Vladimir Putin stated at a press conference in Astana (Kazakhstan) on 14 October that Russia had no intention to destroy Ukraine and that the mobilisation in Russia would end by the end of October.
