Lukashenko announces that Putin fired dozens of missiles on 10 October due to explosion at Crimean Bridge

UKRAINSKA PRAVDA – FRIDAY, 14 OCTOBER 2022, 14:11

Alexander Lukashenko, the self-proclaimed president of Belarus, has announced that Russia launched a large-scale missile attack on Ukraine on 10 October in response to the damage dealt to the Kerch Bridge.

Source: Lukashenko, in an interview with NBC

Lukashenko’s quote: "A few days ago, when Russia struck Ukraine with high-precision weapons in response to the Crimean bridge [explosion], you noticed that this force is very respectable. But this is not all that Russia has [in terms of] the most modern types of weapons, and nuclear weapons are not necessary.

Russia will make it without nuclear weapons. But the question arises, who benefits from this?"

Background:

  • On the morning of 10 October, Russia fired several dozen missiles over the territory of Ukraine. Critical infrastructure facilities and public places were under attack.
  • On the morning of 8 October, it was revealed that the Crimean Bridge was partially destroyed.
