Russia admits that 5 conscripts died in Ukraine

At least five conscripts from Russia’s Chelyabinsk Oblast are confirmed to have died in the war in Ukraine.

Quote by the governor's press service: "The military enlistment office has confirmed the information about the death of five residents of Ural’s south, conscripted from the Korkino military enlistment office."
Details: The press service added that the families of the dead occupiers will be provided with all the necessary assistance.
In particular, they are promised to pay 1 million rubles (US$15,500) each.
The outlet notes that the first mobilisation measures took place in Korkino in late September.
Background:
- On 21 September, Russian President Vladimir Putin announced the partial conscription of fellow Russians. Citizens of Russia began to flee the country en masse. It was reported that less than two weeks after the announcement of the "partial" mobilisation, about 700,000 people left Russia.
