Belarus to inspect its Armed Forces

By decree of the self-proclaimed President of Belarus, Alexander Lukashenko, the Armed Forces of Belarus will be inspected starting on 11 October.

Details: According to the Ministry of Defence, during the inspection, military units will work on achieving combat readiness, marching, and "deployment in designated areas with the implementation of combat training tasks."
The inspection is necessary to determine the military’s readiness to perform its tasks, the Belarusian Defence Ministry added.
Background: On 10 October, the Minister of Defence of Belarus, Viktor Khrenin, issued a separate statement, warning that Ukraine should not take "wrong steps and provoke Belarus" in order to avoid war.
