Quote: "The Russian occupying forces continue to suffer losses in personnel, weapons and military equipment. Fire damage to an enemy facility in the area of Zolote Luhansk region alone resulted in around 60 Russian service personnel being killed and wounded, as well as in the loss of four units of military equipment.

The Russian military leadership is carefully trying to hide their loss of personnel in this war.

At the same time, the political leadership of the Russian Federation continues to search for ways to replenish losses in manpower, including by allowing prisoners to fight in the war. According to the information available, the Russian State Duma has introduced a draft law amending the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation to enable prisoners to serve out their sentences in the military in areas of hostility.

Details: The Russian forces launched 3 missile and 5 air strikes and carried out more than 16 attacks from MLRSs. The Russian army also used unmanned aerial vehicles to launch strikes on infrastructure facilities.

More than 11 settlements were affected by invaders' strikes, including: Bakhmut, Trudove, Bohoiavlenka, Novoukrainka, Zaliznychne, Illinka, Nikopol, Blahodativka, Mykolaiv, Ochakiv and Odesa.

The invaders fired from tanks, mortars, tubed and rocket artillery:

On the Sivershchyna front - in the area of the settlement of Fotovyzh, Sumy Oblast;

The Russian army did not conduct any active offensive operations on the Zaporizhzhia front. Fire damage was inflicted by the Russian forces in the areas of sixteen settlements. Orikhiv, Huliaipole, Zaporizhzhia and Matviivka are among them.

The vicinity of more than 25 settlements near the contact line were attacked by tanks, mortars, and tubed artillery on the Pivdennyi Buh front.

In the temporarily captured territories of Ukraine, the Russian occupation authorities, grossly violating the rules of warfare and human rights, intensified measures for the forced mobilisation of the male population of conscription age in order to replenish the losses of Russian military units. For the timely implementation of mobilisation measures and suppression of the resistance of the local population, additional units of the Rosgvardiya [National Guard of Russia, the internal military force of Russia] arrived in the cities of Berdiansk and Melitopol.

During the day, the Defense Forces of Ukraine repelled aggressors’ attacks in the areas of the settlements of Kozacha Lopan, Bakhmut, Vesela Dolyna, Zaitseve and Pervomaiske.

To support the actions of the ground forces, the Ukrainian Air Force carried out 21 strikes during the day.
