Zelenskyy thanks Biden for another US$12.3 billion: Help is more important than ever

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has expressed gratitude to his American counterpart Joe Biden for signing the law on granting assistance to Ukraine with US$12.35 billion.

Quote: "Thank you to Joe Biden for signing into law US$12.35 billion. The day before, both houses of the US Congress backed the bill. We appreciate this powerful act of solidarity of the US people with Ukraine, as well as bicameral and bipartisan support of our state."
Details: The President recalled that the Act includes funding of defence programmes, as well as providing "Ukraine with direct budget support".
"This help is more important today than ever. We must continue jointly to oppose the aggression of the Russian Federation!" Zelenskyy summed up.
Background:
- On 30 September, the US House of Representatives accepted the bill on temporary state funding, which includes granting financial aid for Ukraine in the amount of US$12.3 billion.
