  • on the Pivdennyi Buh front, the Russian forces used tubed and rocket artillery to fire on Ukrainian positions along the entire contact line.

Moreover, Russian forces deployed UAVs to conduct extensive aerial reconnaissance, making a total of over 60 sorties.

The morale and the psychological condition of Russian soldiers have markedly deteriorated, and instances of desertion have become more common, due to significant losses sustained by the Russian army and a lack of willingness to participate in combat. On the temporarily occupied territory of Kherson Oblast, near the village of Babenivka Druha, Russian forces were forced to deploy helicopters and weapons in order to search for deserters and to return them to combat positions. Unarmed Russian soldiers are also being transported, by bus, to temporarily Russian-occupied Crimea via Kalanchak.

Units of the Ukrainian Defence Forces are maintaining their positions and preventing the Russian forces from advancing further into the territory of Ukraine. Ukrainian soldiers have successfully repelled attacks in areas near Kostiantynivka, Prudianka, Ruski Tyshky, Virnopillia, Mykolaivka Druha, Zaitseve, Avdiivka, Kamianka, Pobieda and Bezimenne.

Over the course of the day, the aircraft of the Ukrainian Air Force supported the actions of the Ukrainian ground troops by carrying out over 10 strikes on Russian strong points on the Donetsk and Pivdennyi Buh fronts, destroying Russian military equipment and anti-aircraft defence systems, and killing a significant number of Russian military personnel.

Ukrainian air defence units shot down at least two Russian UAVs on different fronts.

In addition, the firing missions carried out by the Ukrainian Armed Forces destroyed or damaged three Russian command and control points and a pontoon crossing and struck 28 areas where Russian military personnel and equipment were concentrated. Russian ammunition storage points and artillery positions also came under Ukrainian fire. The losses sustained by Russian forces have yet to be confirmed.
