Security Service of Ukraine shows photo from liberated Balaklia town

The Security Service of Ukraine (SSU) published a photo of the outcome of a clean-up operation in the city of Balaklia in Kharkiv Oblast, and in the village of Vysokopillia in Kherson Oblast, which were de-occupied by the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Quote SSU: "Step by step, we are reclaiming our hometowns and villages! Special Forces of the SSU Special Operations Centre A, shoulder to shoulder with their brothers in arms from the Defence Forces, liberated Vysokopillia and Balaklia!"
Details: The SSU published photos from the liberated city and village.
"We are moving forward to new victories! And no enemy will stop us!", the SSU summed up.
Background:
- The Armed Forces of Ukraine launched a counteroffensive on the Russian-occupied territories of Ukraine.
- According to the Defence Forces of Ukraine, more than 700 square kilometres have already been reclaimed on Kharkiv and Pivdennyi Buh fronts.
- On 8 September, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy confirmed the information about the liberation of Balaklia by the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
- Dmitry Peskov, the Press Secretary of the President of the Russian Federation has declined to comment on the counteroffensive of the Ukrainian army in the occupied territories, and forwarded this question to the Ministry of Defence of the Russian Federation.
