IRYNA BALACHUK — FRIDAY, 9 SEPTEMBER, 2022, 12:41
Ukrainian authorities, police, and emergency services will resume working in the de-occupied territories of the Kharkiv Oblast; one of their priority tasks will be to prepare cities and villages for winter.
Source: Oleh Syniehubov, head of Kharkiv Oblast Military Administration on Telegram
Quote from Syniehubov: "We will have a very large amount of work to restore state authorities in the de-occupied territories, [and it’s up to] the National Police, the State Emergency Service units, [and] the ambulance service, because our people should receive the most modern Ukrainian services and to be able to get back to their lives, even in such very difficult conditions. And we must make settlements ready for the winter heating season."
Details: The chairman of Kharkiv Oblast Military Administration added that the clean-up of liberated territories is still ongoing, and the locals are getting the necessary assistance.
And soon, the restoration of infrastructure and preparation for winter will begin.
Syniehubov also added that in recent days, Russians have increased the intensity of strikes on Kharkiv and other settlements in the region, so he urged residents to be as careful as possible.
According to Syniehubov, the Russians’ anger is due to the success of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, which "are now liberating numerous settlements" in Kharkiv Oblast.
