Ukraine's Security and Defence Council introduces sanctions against 606 members of Russia's "ruling elite"

The National Security and Defence Council of Ukraine has introduced sanctions against 606 Russians belonging to the "ruling elite".

Quote from Zelenskyy: "Today, the National Security and Defence Council of Ukraine made an important decision. Sanctions have been applied to 606 individuals who belong to [Russia's] ruling elite."
Details: Zelenskyy said that 28 members of the Security Council of the Russian Federation, 154 members of the Federation Council of Russia, and 424 deputies of the State Duma of Russia have been sanctioned.
The President stressed that all the individuals on the new sanctions list are responsible for Russia’s war in Ukraine, and that each one of them will be held accountable.
He added that Ukraine has "already taken some of the necessary legal, diplomatic and political steps" to be able to hold the Russian officials accountable.
