"This is Ukrainian sky": Ukrainian paratroopers down Russian Mi-24 attack helicopter

Paratroopers from the 80th Detached Airborne Assault Brigade shot down a Russian Mi-24 attack helicopter. Earlier on 7 September, Ukrainian troops shot down a Russian Su-25 ground attack aircraft.

Quote: "Units of the 80th Detached Assault Brigade of the Air Assault Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine continue to successfully destroy the equipment and manpower of the Russian occupiers on one of the fronts.

In particular, today [7 September - ed.], in addition to the downed Russian Su-25 ground attack aircraft, an air defence unit shot down another Mi-24 attack helicopter of the occupiers."

Details: Lviv-based paratroopers from the 80th Brigade noted that there is no place for  Russian aircraft in the Ukrainian skies.

In total, the air defence units of the 80th Separate Airborne Assault Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine shot down 15 Russian aircraft.

4 fixed-wing planes, 4 helicopters, 2 UAVs and 5 cruise missiles are among them.
