Head of Oblast Military Administration shows consequences of morning Russian attack on Kharkiv

Oleh Syniehubov, the Head of the Kharkiv Oblast Military Administration, published a photo of an apartment block destroyed in a Russian attack on Kharkiv on early 6 September.

Quote: "Russian occupiers launched an attack on Kharkiv on 6 September in the morning. There were two missile strikes. According to preliminary reports, Russians used an S-300 missile system.

One of the missiles hit a roof of a 5-storey residential building, completely destroying three floors. At the moment, the debris is being removed. Luckily, most of the residents of this house moved to another place."

Details: The second missile hit a yard of an administrative building. According to preliminary reports, there are no victims.

The police reported that windows and doors were broken in this building, and the façade was damaged.

Investigative groups, including criminal investigators, bomb experts and members of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine are working on site. They are removing the debris and projectile shells, and documenting the crimes.

The Prosecutor’s Office cites the preliminary reports, which say that Russians launched attacks on Kharkiv from the territory of Belgorod Oblast in Russia.

A criminal case has been opened according to Article 438, Part 1 (violating laws and customs of war) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
