Anti-aircraft gunners down a Russian helicopter and destroy 5 out of 6 cruise missiles

The Ukrainian Air Force has shot down a Russian Ka-52 helicopter and five out of six X-101 cruise missiles fired from the Caspian Sea on Tuesday, 6 September.

Details: Ukrainian Air Force anti-aircraft missile units in the south and east of the country destroyed five of the six X-101 cruise missiles fired from [Russian] Tu-95MS aircraft from the Caspian Sea region at around 08:00 on 6 September.

According to Air Command Pivden (South), four missiles were shot down over the Mykolaiv region.

Also on Tuesday, a Ukrainian Air Force anti-aircraft missile unit destroyed a Russian Ka-52 Alligator attack helicopter.
