Russian forces deploy military equipment in kindergartens and churches – General Staff report

Russian forces are deploying their military equipment in kindergartens and Ukrainian Orthodox churches of the Moscow Patriarchate; they have also set up a field hospital in one of the churches.

Quote: "The enemy is deploying their personnel and military equipment in kindergartens (Verkhnii Rohachyk) and churches of the Moscow Patriarchate (Chervonyi Maiak) in Kherson Oblast, and has set up a field hospital in the Sviatotroitskyi (Holy Trinity) Church in Mala Komyshuvakha in Kharkiv Oblast."
Details: Over the course of the past 24 hours, Russian forces have conducted three missile strikes and over 35 air strikes, and fired using multiple-launch rocket systems (MLRS) around 50 times. On the night of 5–6 September, Russian occupying forces launched rockets [it is unclear whether they used rockets or missiles as the Ukrainian word ракета can mean either - ed.] on civilian targets in Bakhmut and Kostiantynivka (Donetsk Oblast).
Russian aircraft conducted airstrikes on Bairak and Asiivka (Kharkiv Oblast); Pryshyb, Vremivka, Velyka Novosilka, Novomykhailivka and Novopil (Donetsk Oblast); Poltavka and Olhivske (Zaporizhzhia Oblast); Bila Krynytsia, Bilohirka and Kostromka (Kherson Oblast); and Velyke Artakove, Ternivka and Liubomyrivka (Mykolaivs Oblast).
There were no significant changes on the Volyn and Polissia fronts. Russian forces continued to fired on military and civilian infrastructure targets across all other fronts:
- On the Sivershchyna front, Russian forces fired on areas in and around Khrinivka (Chernihiv Oblast) and Nova Huta, Sopych and Myropillia (Sumy Oblast)
- On the Kharkiv front, the Russians fired on Udy, Sosnivka, Svitlychne, Zolochiv, Prudianka, Velyki Prokhody, Nove, Pytomnyk, Ruska Lozova, Ruski Tyshky, Petrivka, Kostiantynivka, Pryshyb, Husarivka and Chepil
- On the Sloviansk front: Virnopillia, Brazhkivka, Ridne, Dolyna, Krasnopillia, Dmytrivka, Bohorodychne, Donetske and Sloviansk
- On the Kramatorsk front: Kryva Luka, Siversk, Verkhnokamianske, Ivano-Darivka and Spirne
- On the Bakhmut front, Rozdolivka, Bilohorivka, Yakovlivka, Soledar, Bakhmutske, Bakhmut, Hryhorivka, Vesela Dolyna, Odradivka, Zaitseve, New-York, Yurivka, Opytne, Vesele and Maiorsk
- On the Avdiivka front: Avdiivka, Opytne, Pervomaiske and Marinka
- On the Novopavlivka front: Vremivka, Velyka Novosilka, Neskuchne, Shakhtarske, Novomykhailivka, Zolota Nyva, Prechystivka, Vuhledar, Pavlivka, Kostiantynivka
- On the Zaporizhzhia front: Zelene Pole, Vremivka, Olhivske, Poltavka, Zaliznychne, Chervone, Huliaipilske, Dorozhnianka, Novodanylivka and Bilohiria
- On the Pivdennyi Buh front: Mykolaiv, Novohryhorivka, Yakovlivka, Partyzanske, Kvitneve, Kyselivka, Shevchenkove, Ternovi Pody, Pravdyne, Liubomyrivka, Stepova Dolyna, Tavriiske, Myrne, Stepove, Novooleksandrivka, Pervomaiske, Kobzartsi, Petrivka, Zarichne, Ivanivka, Tokareve, Olhyne and Shyroke.
The Ukrainian Armed Forces successfully repelled Russian attempts to advance on Soledar, Zaitseve, Butivka Mine and Spartak. Ukrainian aircraft conducted over 30 airstrikes aimed at striking Russian forces, damaging several platoon strong points, around five anti-aircraft missile systems, and an artillery battery. Russian losses have yet to be confirmed.
