Sumy Oblast: Russian forces use mortars and self-propelled artillery to fire on areas near Ukrainian border

Russian forces hit Sumy Oblast with a total of 39 bombs, rockets and shells using mortars and self-propelled artillery systems on 5 September; the Russians also fired two rounds from small arms.

Details: Russian forces carried out a total of six attacks on Sumy Oblast, hitting the Seredyna-Buda, Esman, Shalyhyne, Myropillia and Nova Sloboda hromadas (hromada or amalgamated territorial community is an administrative unit designating a village, several villages, or a town, and their adjacent territories).
Zhyvytskyi notes that there were no casualties.
