Part of the IAEA participants leaves Energoatom

On 5 September, four of the six participants of the IAEA mission completed their work and left the Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant (ZNPP); two representatives of the organisation remained at the plant.

Background:

• On 2 September, Rafael Grossi, Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), confirmed that two representatives of the organisation would stay at the Zaporizhia Nuclear Power Plant (ZNPP) after the mission is over.
• The IAEA mission arrived at the Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant in occupied Enerhodar on the afternoon of 1 September.
