Russian occupying forces have banned residents of Kherson Oblast from crossing the River Dnipro and are limiting their freedom of movement amid counteroffensive operations by the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Quote from the General Staff: "Following the [Ukrainian] Defence Forces’ extensive shelling of areas where enemy forces were concentrated in Kherson Oblast, Russian occupiers have limited local residents’ freedom of movement. In particular, people are banned from crossing the River Dnipro using bridges or boats.

If the ban is violated, the occupiers threaten to open fire [on the rule-breakers]."
