Oleksii Reznikov, the Defence Minister of Ukraine announced "good news" after a conversation with Lloyd Austin, the US Secretary of Defence.

Quote: "I had a telephone conversation with the US Secretary of Defence. We discussed updates from the front line, the Ramstein 6 [meeting of defence ministers of NATO countries that assist Ukraine with weapons, ammunition and intelligence data in the ongoing war – ed.] and ways to strengthen our capabilities. Good news to be announced soon.
Lloyd Austin III confirmed that the United States does not recognise the ‘referenda’ on the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine.
The Ukrainian army will continue to use weapons to liberate our land."
