Ukraine’s Armed Forces repel Russians’ attacks near 11 settlements – General Staff

Over the day, 29 September, the Armed Forces of Ukraine have repelled the attacks of Russian occupiers in the areas of Zaitseve, Mayorsk, Vesela Dolyna, Bakhmutske, Odradivka, Kurdiumivka, New-York, Pervomaiske, Vyimka, Pavlivka, and Bezimenne.

Details: On Thursday, Russians landed 4 missile strikes and 4 airstrikes. They have also landed attacks, using multiple-launch rocket systems more than 28 times.

More than 20 settlements have been damaged due to occupiers’ strikes. Kramatorsk, Bakhmut, Kryvyi Rih, Dnipro, Mykolaiv, Nikopol, Pavlivka, Vysokopillia, and Myrne are among them. Additionally, more than 10 civilians have been injured as a result of a strike on Kryvyi Rih Thermal Power Plant in Zelenodolsk city.

There have been no considerable changes on the Volyn and Polissia fronts.

Russian launched strikes using tanks, mortars, cannon and rocket artillery systems on other fronts:

On the Siversk front – in the areas of Senkivka (Chernihiv Oblast); 

On the Slobozhanshchyna front – in the areas of Veterynarne, Sosnivka, Strilecha, Krasne, Hlyboke, Kolodiazne, Dvorichna, Hrushivka, Senkove, and Oskil settlements; 

On the Kramatorsk front – in the areas of Novyi Myr, Katerynivka, Nove, Novoselivka, Bohorodychne, Pryshyb, Blakytni Ozera, Shchurove, Donetske, Staryi Karavan, Dibrova, Raihorodok, Ozerne, Zakitne, and Verkhniokamianske settlements; 

On the Bakhmut front – Rozdolivka, Vesele, Bilohorivka, Yakovlivka, Soledar, Bakhmutske, Bakhmut, Ivanivske, Vesela Dolyna, Odradivka, Zaitseve, and Toretsk settlements; 

On the Avdiivka front – in the areas of Berdychi, Avdiivka, Pervomaiske, Opytne, Pisky, and Marinka settlements; 

On the Novopavlivka front – Vremivka, Velyka Novosilka, Novopil, Neskuchne, and Novoukrainka; 

On the Zaporizhzhia front – Temyrivka, Yablukove, Uspenivka, Poltavka, Zaliznychne, Huliaipole, Charivne, Dorozhnianka, Kamianske, Mala Tokmachka, Bilohiria, and Chervone.

On the Pivdennyi Buh front, more than 35 settlements along the frontline were attacked from tanks, mortars, and artillery systems. In particular, this refers to Nikopol, Vysokopillia, Arkhanhelske, Osokorivka, Ternivka, Bilohirka, Sukhyi Stavok, Blahodatne, Olhyne, Lymany, Pravdyne, and Myrne. 

Leaders of the occupiers keep trying to restore combat capability of units that have suffered losses. Thus, the so-called "government" is conducting a call-up, training 250 prisoners on the temporarily occupied territory of Donetsk Oblast. They are going to be sent to replenish units that are currently on the front line in the nearest days.

Occupiers keep suffering losses. In particular, it is now confirmed that an area of concentration of Russian manpower and equipment in the district of Nova Kuban (Kherson Oblast) has been hit. This resulted in the detonation of munitions. The enemy’s losses are being ascertained. 

As per clarified information, 15 Russian soldiers were killed and more than 40 injured due to a strike near Sofiivka (Berdiansk district, Zaporizhzhia Oblast).

Besides, more than 200 injured occupiers have been delivered to medical establishments of Starobilsk in Luhansk Oblast during the last two days. 

To support the ground units, the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine have launched 7 strikes over the day. One strong point, 10 clusters of weapons and equipment, and 6 air defence missile systems of occupiers have been damaged. Moreover, Ukraine’s air defence units have shot down a UAV. 

Rocket forces and artillery units have struck 4 command posts, 15 areas of concentration of manpower, weapons, and equipment, as well as 6 ammunition and fuel storage sites over the current day.
