Ukrainian Armed Forces shoot down Iranian-made drones attacking Mykolaiv Oblast

The anti-aircraft defence forces of the Ukrainian Navy destroyed three Iranian-made Shahed-136 suicide drones in the skies over Mykolaiv Oblast in the morning on Tuesday, 27 September.

Quote: "Around 08:00 [on 27 September], air defence of the Naval Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine destroyed three Shahed-136 kamikaze drones out of the three that were attacking Mykolaiv Oblast."
Details: The Air Force added that they are increasingly gaining experience in destroying sucide drones and are currently looking for effective methods to counter barrage munitions.
Previously:
- Russian forces used multiple-launch rocket systems (MLRS) to fire rockets on Mykolaiv city centre on the night of 26–27 September, hitting and damaging a series of civilian targets, including residential buildings, shops and water mains.
- Russian forces attacked Odesa Oblast with Iranian-made kamikaze drones on the evening of 26 September. However, Ukrainian air defence forces shot all of them down.
