President’s Office explains NASAMS situation: Decision made, but systems not in Ukraine yet

Serhii Nykyforov, a spokesperson for the President Volodymyr Zelenskyy of Ukraine, has explained the President’s words in the interview with American channel about Ukraine having received NASAMS air defence systems. Nykyforov has clarified that it referred to a decision to provide Ukraine with those systems.

Quote: "We have received a decision, an agreement, but NASAMS are not physically here yet," he said.
As reported, Zelenskyy, while expressing his gratitude for transferring the important air defence systems, used the phrase "We received NASAMS" in the interview with CBS.
In the middle of September, the Pentagon stated that Ukraine would receive the first two batteries within the next two months.
