A shooting has taken place in the Ust-Ilimsk military enlistment office of Irkutsk Oblast of the Russian Federation. The head of the conscription commission has been wounded, and a 25-year-old gunman has been detained.

Details: A man committed a shooting at the military enlistment office in Irkutsk Oblast of Russia on 26 September. The head of the conscription commission has been wounded. He was taken away by an ambulance. Initially, it was reported that the military commander was killed, but the latest information indicates that he has survived.
According to Mash, military commissar Aleksandr Eliseyev was shot six times and is currently in intensive care in a serious condition.
The attacker has been detained. He stated that his name was Ruslan Zinin, he was born in 1997 and was unemployed.
According to eyewitnesses, before opening fire, Zinin said: "We are all going home now." According to preliminary information, he was going to be "called up".
There is no metal detector at the military enlistment office. No one was checking the conscripts' documents either, they only checked their call-up notices.
Reminder: the 21-year-old Russian commander of the Kantemirov division, Vadim Shishimarin is also from Ust-Ilimsk. He participated in the Russian offensive on the city of Sumy and was sentenced in Ukraine to life imprisonment for murdering a civilian.
