The Ukrainian military have shot down a Russian Mi-8 helicopter, an Su-25 attack aircraft, kamikaze drones, and struck areas where Russian troops were amassed along with one of their convoys in the past 24 hours.

Odesa was attacked twice by kamikaze drones from the Black Sea. An administration building in the port area was destroyed, as a result of a strike by two drones.

Another Shahid-136 kamikaze drone was shot down over the sea. Several nearby buildings were damaged by the shock wave from the explosion. One civilian was killed.

During the repeated air attack on Odesa, 4 more kamikaze drones were destroyed by Ukraine’s air defence forces over the sea.

For the first time in the Ukrainian war, an Iranian-produced multi-purpose strike UAV Mohajer-6, designed for reconnaissance, surveillance and fire damage, was shot down in Odesa.

One more Shahid-136 drone attacked Ukrainian positions on the line of contact in the Bereznehuvatska hromada of Mykolaiv Oblast in the evening.

Another Shahid-136 kamikaze drone was also shot down during an attempt to attack the vicinity of the Pivdennyi port.

Ukraine’s Air Forces conducted 20 strikes on Russian troops. Russia’s Mi-8 helicopter was shot down in Mykolaiv Oblast, and a Russian Su-25 attack jet-aircraft was shot down by Ukraine’s anti-air gunners in the Beryslavskyi region of Kherson Oblast.

Missile and artillery units carried out an estimated 290 fire missions, including hitting a pontoon crossing in Nova Kakhovka, 2 points of weapons and equipment amass in the Beryslav district, 3 points of Russia’s personnel and units’ concentration in the Kakhovka and Kherson districts, an electronic warfare station in the Kruty Yar area, a Tor surface-to-air missile system in the Bashtan district of Mykolaiv Oblast, and a convoy of weapons and equipment in Kakhovka.

Control of the Kakhovka bridge has been confirmed.

Other losses of the Russian army during the day’s fighting include 51 military personnel, a 152-mm Msta-B howitzer, a tank and 16 other armoured vehicles.

15 Russian ships and boats are manoeuvring in the Black Sea, including 3 surface vessels and 1 submarine armed with Kalibr missiles. 28 ships are on standby.
