Quote: "Unfortunately, the terror is growing. Since the very morning, explosions have been heard in Melitopol.
There was an explosion in one of the nine-story buildings last night. Unfortunately, there are victims: one person was killed, and [another] one was injured.
Additionally, today there was an explosion near one of the locations where invaders were staying. Their losses are being ascertained now."
Details: Fedorov also commented on the total resistance of the city's population to the so-called "referendum" of Russians.
He said that on Thursday evening, "extras from Crimea" were brought to Melitopol by buses to film propaganda stories about the alleged support of the "referendum" by the population of Melitopol. Fedorov also said that a few days ago, propagandists had released a story with an alleged survey of Melitopol residents regarding their "support" for Russia, but the people who took part in it spoke with an accent that was not typical for the locals [i.e., they could be brought from Russia, - ed.].
The mayor of Melitopol also once again called on all the men to leave the occupied territory of Zaporizhzhia Oblast.
"Yesterday morning, men aged 18 to 35 were not allowed to enter Zaporizhzhia through Vasylivka. This is a confirmed fact. But it is also confirmed that last night, people could still have left for temporarily occupied Crimea. Therefore, today we urge all men to leave for Crimea, then for the EU or Georgia, and then return to Ukraine. Because everyone will certainly be taken away from the street and get mobilised, as it’s supposed to be done in the occupied Donbas," he said.
Background: Earlier, Fedorov said that there was an explosion at 7:00 in Melitopol, which "residents of the city centre had definitely felt."
