The enemy strikes our positions along the front line and keeps conducting reconnaissance [missions] in the skies."

Details: Russians keep attacking civilian infrastructure facilities and residential buildings, terrorising civilians. A threat of air and rocket strikes remains on the whole territory of Ukraine.

Over the day, occupiers struck military and civilian facilities on the territory of Ukraine, using missiles on four occasions; 17 airstrikes, and 24 attacks that involved multiple-launch rocket systems took place as well.

Infrastructure has been damaged in more than 30 settlements. This refers to, in particular, Pryshyb, Spirne, Vesele, Marinka, Bakhmut, Kostiantynivka, Neskuchne, Poltavka, Yehorivka, Bezimenne, Bilohirka, Zaporizhzhia, Kryvyi Rih, Pervomaisk, Mykolaiv, Ochakiv, Vysokopillia, Sukhyi Stavok, and Myroliubivka.

On other fronts, Russian troops keep landing strikes, using tanks, mortars, and artillery systems. In particular, this applies to the Siversk, Slobozhanshchyna, Kramatorsk, Bakhmut, and Avdiivka fronts.

On the Novopavlivka and Zaporizhzhia fronts, Russians attacked settlements with artillery systems.

On the Pivdennyi Buh front, more than 37 settlements were hit.

Russians are trying to keep the situation on temporarily occupied territories under their control. Administrative and police control is strengthened in Kherson. Inspection of households and psychological pressure on local residents are performed there, as well.

Works to prepare and conduct the sham referendum on temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine have intensified.

Representatives of Russian occupiers’ authorities are trying to collect the local people’s personal data in Kherson Oblast by covering it up with proper distribution of humanitarian aid. So-called election committees are being formed there, too.

In the city of Starobilsk (Luhansk Oblast), occupiers’ authorities banned residents from leaving the city in the period from 23 and 27 September.

According to the available information, occupiers are creating armed groups to inspect houses and coerce people to take part in the so-called referendums. Propagandist media prepare to film "active participation of local residents in the voting".

On the temporarily occupied territory of Zaporizhzhia Oblast, the locals are promised to get a cash reward and household devices in exchange for their passport data and accepting citizenship of Russia.

Over the current day, units of the Defence Forces repelled the enemy’s attacks in the areas of Kupiansk, Zaitseve, and Novomykhailivka settlements.

Over the day, Ukrainian aviation struck ten clusters of Russian soldiers and equipment, as well as two positions of air defence systems.

Besides, Ukrainian air defence units destroyed two Russian UAVs.

Air defence forces attacked four command posts of occupiers, as well as two areas of concentration of soldiers and equipment, three positions of air defence systems, one artillery position, and three weapons storage sites.
