Eight people blown up by landmines in Kharkiv Oblast in one day

On Thursday, eight local residents stepped on landmines in the liberated territory in the Chuhuiv district of Kharkiv Oblast.

Quote: "On 22 September, a unit of the Chuhuiv district police received several reports that 8 residents of the Chuhuiv district had been injured by landmines left behind by the occupiers.
A 67-year-old resident of the village of Grakove and a 52-year-old resident of the village of Chkalovske sustained explosive injuries. Also, a police officer of the local hromada [an administrative unit designating a town, village or several villages and their adjacent territories] found two tractor drivers injured by landmines in the field. They were taken to Chuhuiv district hospital."
Details: Investigators of the Chuhuiv district police opened criminal proceedings under Part 1 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (violation of the laws and customs of war).
The police called on residents not to approach suspicious objects, to move only on paved surfaces, and to call appropriate services immediately if explosive objects are detected.
