Ivan Fedorov, Mayor of Melitopol, said that on 22 September, Russians staged a terrorist attack on the market in the centre of the city, planing to blame it on the Ukrainian authorities on the eve of the sham referendum.

Quote from Fedorov: "At the Central Market of Melitopol, where there is always a large crowd of people, Russians carried out an explosion and eliminated three soldiers. We are confirming information about civilians."
Details: According to him, the occupiers are trying to "mop up their own people" before holding the so-called "referendum". Fedorov added that Ukraine will liberate its territories.
