Amber terrorist threat level extended in Belgorod Oblast, Russia

The amber level of terrorist threat has been extended in Belgorod Oblast in the Russian Federation until 7 October. [Belgorod Oblast shares a border with Ukraine and has, over the course of the last several months, seen a series of unexplained explosions, which Russia blames on Ukraine - ed.]

Quote from Gladkov: "We extend the amber level of terrorist threat from today and until 7 October.
We are also extending the ban on firecrackers and fireworks."
Previously: A week earlier, on 15 September, Gladkov reported that there was a fire near the Nekhoteevka checkpoint, near the Russian-Ukrainian border; a customs terminal was damaged. The governor claimed that the fire was caused by an attack carried out from Ukraine’s territory.
