The Armed Forces of Ukraine repelled enemy attacks near 5 Settlements – General Staff

During the day, Ukrainian defenders repelled enemy attacks in the areas of Kupiansk, Vesele, Zaitseve, Kurdiumivka and Bakhmutske settlements.

Quote from the General Staff: "To support the actions of ground groups, the Defence Forces' aircraft launched 32 strikes on enemy positions. The destruction of 17 areas of concentration of enemy manpower and military equipment, 4 strongholds, 10 positions of anti-aircraft missile systems and one ammunition depot were confirmed. In addition, air defence units destroyed one cruise missile and 3 enemy UAVs."
Details: Rocket Troops and artillery inflicted fire damage on 22 enemy targets – in particular, on 7 control points of various levels and 13 areas of concentration of personnel, weapons and military equipment. Ammunition depots, air defence facilities and pontoon crossings of the invaders fell within the affected area. The total losses of the enemy are still being clarified.
At the same time, the invaders launched 5 missiles and 11 air strikes during the day, carrying out 17 MLRS attacks on military and civilian facilities on the territory of Ukraine.
As a result of Russian strikes, the infrastructure of more than 30 settlements was damaged. In particular, in Kharkiv, Slovianske, Pechenihy, Pokrovsk, Poltavka, Bilohorivka, Nevelske, Marinka, Myroliubivka and Vysokopillia.
There is still the threat of enemy air and missile strikes throughout Ukraine.
The Russians fired tank rounds, mortars and artillery:
- on the Sivershchyna front – in the districts of the settlements of Zaliznyi Mist and Huta-Studenetska Chernihiv Oblast and Manukhivka, Bachivsk, Boiaro-Lezhachi, Volfyne, Holyshivske and Turia Sumy Oblast;
- on the Slobozhanshchyna front – in the districts of the settlements of Hrushivka, Kupiansk, Veterynarne, Hoptivka and Hlyboke;
- on the Kramatorsk front - Yarova, Studenok, Tetianivka, Bohorodychne, Raihorodok, Zakitne and Ozerne;
- on the Bakhmut front - Soledar, Bakhmutske, Rozdolivka, Klishchivka, Krasnopolivka, Zvanivka, Yurivka and Niu-York;
- on the Avdiivka direction - Avdiivka, Krasnohorivka, Opytne, Marinka, Vodiane ta Pervomaiske.
On Novopavlivka and Zaporizhia fronts about 25 settlements were shelled by tanks, mortars and barrel artillery. In particular, Vuhledar, Zolota Nyva, Huliaipole, Rivnopillia and Zelene Pole.
On the Pivdennyi Buh front, more than 35 settlements along the contact line were hit by fire. More than 60 sorties of Russian UAVs were also recorded to conduct reconnaissance and correct fire. At least six unmanned aerial vehicles were used by the invaders to strike at civilian infrastructure facilities.
On the Volyn and Polissia fronts, the situation is unchanged.
According to the General Staff, to compensate for the losses of personnel of the occupation forces units in the troops of the Cossack society "All-Russian Army Don", candidates are being selected for service in the Rosgvardiya.
At the same time, the Kuban Cossack Army is obliged to form additional volunteer units and conduct their training based on regional Cossack societies of the Krasnodar Territory.
In the city of Chyta and the region, candidates are recruited under the guise of being sent for construction work in Ukraine.
