Mashovets directly told the congressmen of Ukraine’s pressing needs.

Smyrnov pointed out Ukraine's initiative to create a special tribunal for a crime of aggression against Ukraine. In his opinion, Smyrnov said this is not just a matter of a war in Ukraine, but an issue for the whole civilised world, and the US support in this process, as it is a key democracy, is vital.
