Russian Army preparing to defensive actions in Ukraine

The Russian Army is preparing to conduct defensive operations in the occupied territories of Ukraine, forming up to 3 defence lines.

Quote: "Military intelligence reports that the Russian forces are actively preparing for defensive operations. They are preparing their defence positions of the first and the second line.
In fact, they did that in the South of Ukraine, in Kherson Oblast. When the Russian forces occupied these territories, they organised defence of at least two or even three lines right away. Now they are trying to create reserve detachments to re-establish their positions. There are problems with that, we can see it clearly".
Details: Skibitskii is convinced that creating reserves, let alone swift advance in Ukrainian territories is "very problematic for the Russian Federation".
Background: In Kherson Oblast, the occupiers decided to create "volunteer battalions" to force residents of Kherson Oblast to participate in the war against Ukraine.
