Zelenskyy convenes another meeting of the Staff of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief: The outcomes will be obvious to everyone

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that he convened another meeting of the Staff of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief [the highest command and control body for the troops and individual branches of the Ukrainian military, as well as law enforcement services and agencies of Ukraine, which are part of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, formed by decree of the President of Ukraine on 24 February 2022 in response to the Russian invasion - ed.].

As always, heads of the security and defence agencies were present: [Valerii] Zaluzhnyi [Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine], [Denys] Monastyrskyi [Minister of Internal Affairs], [Kyrylo] Budanov [Chief of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine], [Vasyl] Maliuk [Chief of the Security Service of Ukraine], [Oleksii] Danilov [Secretary of the National Security and Defence Council], and others. [Oleksandr] Syrskyi, [Serhii] Lytvynov and [Andrii] Kovlachuk, commanders of Operational Commands [Pivnich (North), Zakhid (West) and Pivden (South), respectively].
I think everyone understands the sorts of questions [that were discussed]; certain decisions have also been made [during the meeting]. I think everyone will be able to see their outcomes."
Previously: On 31 August, President Zelenskyy held a meeting of the Headquarters of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief, which was attended by heads of Ukraine’s law enforcement agencies. The military reported on the development of the situation on the front lines.
In his evening address on the same day, Zelenskyy thanked the people in Crimea who support Ukraine for the information they provide [regarding the deployment, bases, and movements of the Russian forces - ed.] and assured them that Ukrainian forces will get as much out of it as possible.
