Russian forces attack Nikopol district using Grad MLRS: 1 civilian injured

Russian forces used Grad multiple-launch rocket systems (MLRS) to attack the Nikopol district of Dnipropetrovsk Oblast on the night of 1–2 September. One civilian sustained injuries.

Quote: "A 56-year-old man was injured in the Chervonohryhorivka hromada [amalgamated territorial community, an administrative unit designating a village, several villages, or a town, and their adjacent territories]. He was trying to escape the shelling and was driving on his way out of the village. An enemy rocket hit his car. The man has been hospitalised. Doctors assess his condition as moderate."
Details: Two villages in the Chervonohryhorivka hromada were also affected by the Russian attack: one private house was destroyed and another 16 damaged.
In addition, a local lyceum [specialised secondary school - ed.], several cars, gas pipelines and power lines were also damaged.
At the time of writing, 2,000 civilians remain without power and up to 5,000 without running water. Emergency service workers are already working at the scene [to restore power and the water supply].
Other districts of Dnipropetrovsk Oblast suffered no attacks overnight.
