President Volodymyr Zelenskyy noted that the Security Service of Ukraine (SSU) began to work more effectively; this was clearly visible in the liberated territories of Kharkiv Oblast, so now Russia will have no one to lean on in its aggressive intentions there.

Quote from Zelenskyy: "Kharkiv Oblast - we are stabilising the situation, holding our positions (...)

I want to thank the National Police for quickly restoring law and order in the newly liberated territory. And [I also want to thank] the Security Service of Ukraine for the fact that it is now working in considerably more effective fashion.

I can’t disclose all the details, but thanks to the Security Service of Ukraine, we now have confidence that the occupiers will not have any foothold on Ukrainian ground."

Details: Zelenskyy noted that the occupiers are "clearly panicking" after the counteroffensive of the Armed Forces [of Ukraine], but now, they only have two options: either flee or be convicted in Ukraine.

The President also said that the issue of protecting the state border was discussed at the meeting of the Staff of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief on Monday.
