Russians launch 4 missile and 9 air strikes in one day, the Armed Forces of Ukraine hit strong and storage points – General Staff report

Russian troops launched 4 missile attacks and 9 air strikes on the territory of Ukraine on the 208th day of the war. Ukrainian defenders hit 5 strong points and concentration areas of the Russians, as well as 3 ammunition storage points of the Russian army.

Quote: "The enemy continues to focus efforts on the organisation of defence and the maintenance of the captured territories; [the Russian army] attempts to fully occupy Donetsk Oblast, as well as to disrupt the actions of [Ukraine’s] defence forces on certain fronts.
The enemy strikes at the position of our troops along the line of contact; on some fronts. [Russia] conducts measures to regroup its units, brings in reserves and keeps performing air reconnaissance flights.
There is a threat of air and rocket strikes throughout Ukraine."
Details: According to the General Staff, during the day, Russians have launched 4 rocket attacks and 9 air strikes, and carried out more than 11 attacks from multiple launch rocket systems, aiming at military and civilian targets on the territory of Ukraine, violating the norms of international humanitarian law and laws and customs of war.
Infrastructure in more than 24 settlements was damaged. Among them are Siversk, Kramatorsk, Serebrianka, Bilohorivka, Spirne, Krasnohorivka, Avdiivka, Novomykhailivka, Stepove, Zaporizhzhia, Mykolaiv, Oleksandrivka, Olhivske, Sukhyi Stavok, Myroliubivka and Petrivka.
On the Volyn and Polissia fronts, the situation did not change significantly.
On the other fronts, Russian forces opened fire from tanks, mortars and artillery, namely:
On the Sivershchyna front – in the area of the settlement of Mykolaivka, Chernihiv Oblast;
on the Slobozhanshchyna front – near the settlements of Ivashky, Hoptivka, Huriv, Kozachok, Kozacha Lopan, Kudiivka, Kamianka, Strilecha, Hlyboke, Kupiansk and Holubivka;
on the Kramatorsk front – next to Sviatohirsk, Raihorodok, Serebrianka, Bilohorivka, Sosnove, Mykolaivka, Bohorodychne, Pryshyb and Hryhorivka;
on the Bakhmut front – in the vicinities of Siversk, Verkhnokamianske, Rozdolivka, Soledar, Bakhmutske, Bakhmut, Vesela Dolyna, Odradivka, Vesele, Vyimka, Mykolaivka Druha, Niu-York, Oleksandropil, Yurivka, Rozivka, Zaitseve and Yakovlivka;
on the Avdiivka front – near Krasnohorivka, Marinka, Novomykhailivka, Kostiantynivka, Avdiivka, Semenivka, Opytne, Karlivka and Pervomaiske;
on the Novopavlivka and Zaporizhzhia fronts – not far from Vuhledar, Velyka Novosilka, Bilohirʼia, Novoandriivka, Mali Shcherbaky, Prechystivka, Novomaiorske, Myrne, Dorozhnianka, Nove, Vilne Pole, Stepove, Mala Tokmachka, Novoiakovlivka, Chervone, Zaliznychne, Malynivka, Pavlivka, Huliaipilske, Huliaipole, Novopil and Vremivka.
On the Pivdennyi Buh front, Russian forces opened fire along the entire contact line. More than 30 towns and cities were hit. Among them are Snihurivka, Shyroke, Blahodativka, Novovoznesenske, Sukhyi Stavok, Myroliubivka and Olhyne.
Throughout the current day, the units of the Defence Forces of Ukraine have repelled attacks of the Russian occupying forces in the areas of Mykolaivka Druha, Kurdiumivka and Zaitseve.
During the day, the aircraft of the Defence Forces hit 11 clusters of Russian personnel and military equipment, one position of an anti-aircraft missile system and one ammunition storage point.
Meanwhile, Ukrainian air defence units who operated on different fronts destroyed a Su-25 ground attack jet, a guided missile and three UAVs.
Ukraine’s missile forces and artillery units fired on 5 strong points and areas of concentration of Russian military personnel and equipment, as well as 3 ammunition storage points. The total losses suffered by the Russian forces are being ascertained.
The facts of damage to Russian military personnel and infrastructure (as of 18 September) in Zaporizhzhia Oblast have been confirmed. 10 artillery systems, and 5 units of Russian military equipment were destroyed; Russian military personnel sustained heavy losses on this front. According to available information, more than one hundred servicemen were wounded.
