Another village in Luhansk Oblast liberated by Ukraine’s Armed Forces – Head of Military Administration
VALENTYNA ROMANENKO – MONDAY, 19 SEPTEMBER 2022, 16:39
Serhiy Haidai, Head of the Luhansk Oblast Military Administration, has reported that the Ukrainian military has liberated the village of Bilohorivka from the Russian invaders.
Source: Haidai on Telegram
Quote: "Bilohorivka in Luhansk Oblast has been liberated and is fully under the control of Ukraine’s Armed Forces."
Details: At the same time, Haidai advised everyone to be patient in anticipation of the large-scale liberation of Luhansk Oblast.
This process will be much more difficult than it was with Kharkiv Oblast, since it is impossible to catch the enemy by surprise on this front. There will be fierce battles for every centimetre of Luhansk Oblast, Haidai warned.
Quote: "The enemy is preparing for defence, so we won’t be parading in.
People are waiting for us. We are preparing. The Ukrainian authorities will immediately start to operate in the liberated hromadas [an administrative unit designating a town, village or several villages and their adjacent territories]. Time and patience are required. Stay tuned for official information."
Background: Despite Russian claims about "taking control of the entire territory of Luhansk Oblast", Russian troops did not succeed in doing that in over six months of full-scale war. The Ukrainian military launched a counteroffensive at the beginning of September.
