The Security Service of Ukraine has exposed two pro-Kremlin sleeper militants who had arrived on Ukraine-controlled territory to conduct reconnaissance and subversive activities even before the invasion began.

Quote: "The attackers were detained in Pokrovsk, Donetsk Oblast, where they secretly arrived to conduct intelligence and subversive activities against the Defence Forces of Ukraine."
Details: ID cards of members of illegal armed groups, automatic weapons and ammunition were seized from the detainees.
The detainees are 2 residents who joined the terrorist groups Vostok and Slavic Brigade in 2014. Under the leadership of the Motorola militant [Arsen Pavlov, Russian military figure who came to fight against Ukrainian troops in Donetsk Oblast in 2014; killed in Donetsk in 2016 - ed.], they took an active part in the fighting against Ukrainian troops near Kramatorsk.
Also, as part of Russian mortar crews, the militants covered the retreat from Sloviansk of terrorist Strelkov's units.
Before the start of a full-scale invasion, the invaders transferred both attackers to the territory of the region controlled by the Ukrainian authorities. While staying there, they were in a "standby mode", waiting for further tasks from their Russian handlers.
However, the SSU officers worked ahead of schedule, established the location and detained the militants.
Background: On September 16, Security Service detained a Russian agent who tried to get a job with the Combat Special Forces of the Azov Regiment.
