Occupiers escape across Dnipro using stolen motor boats – Ukrainian Intelligence
ROMAN PETRENKO — FRIDAY, 16 SEPTEMBER 2022, 11:54
Ukrainian Intelligence found out that units of occupiers that are now stationed in Kherson Oblast cannot provide themselves with drinking water; they are running away across Dnipro on stolen motor boats.
Source: Chief Intelligence Directorate of Ukraine’s Defence Ministry
Details: The Intelligence reports that a number of units of the Russian army in Kherson Oblast received an order to withdraw personnel to the left bank of Dnipro, using small watercraft for this purpose, namely the motor boats stolen from the surrounding villages.
The Chief Intelligence Directorate also reported that several groups of unarmed Russians (from 10 to 20 people) were spotted near the ferry crossing across Dnipro. They refused to take part in hostilities, so commanding officers in their units took them off the food supplies, took away their weapons and let them go "to the wilderness".
Background: Explosions thundered in the centre of occupied Kherson on Friday; Russian media reported a rocket attack on the city’s "administration".
