Occupiers leave Luhansk Oblast in information vacuum: no Internet, casualties reported – Head of Luhansk Oblast Military Administration

Serhii Haidai, the Head of Luhansk Oblast Military Administration claims that the occupation administration has left civilians without any Internet connection; the invaders declare full control of the situation, despite suffering losses during the Ukrainian defenders’ counteroffensive.

Quote: "Occupiers leave people in an information vacuum and keep spreading videos to create the image of full control in the so-called "Luhansk People’s Republic" ("LPR").

But here is the thing: since there is no Internet connection in a lot of towns and villages, virtually no one is going to watch those videos. By the way, the recording date of those videos is unknown. After blocking the mobile Internet, the enemy has started to turn off cable [Internet] as well, [just] like in Svatove.

Besides, they do not tell [anyone] about massive losses of occupiers after the Ukrainian defenders’ strike in areas of the amassment of Russian soldiers."

Details: Haidai pointed out that corps of Russian soldiers were carried in overloaded trucks after efficient precision strikes near Perevalsk.

It is also reported that the military barracks has been hit in Lysychansk.

"They do not tell anything to residents of the so-called "republic" about significant losses of Russians on the Slobozhanshchyna front. 202nd and 204th Infantry Regiments of the 2nd Army Corps of the occupiers’ troops, which took part in combat actions, retreated in a hurry and would be subject to disbandment," Haidai wrote.

He stressed that the invaders urgently repurposed civilian medical establishments, including a paediatric hospital, to military hospitals in Novoaidar, due to a large number of injured soldiers.

Quote: "However, residents of towns in Luhansk Oblast see them hunting for men every day. One of the latest occupiers’ traps: they use regular vans with an ‘On sale’ sign, which do not cause any suspicion until soldiers come out of it and grab you.

And they need to force a lot of men to serve, because Ukrainian defenders have successfully repelled Russian attacks near Odradivka, Zaitseve, Bakhmut, Vesela Dolyna, Avdiivka and Novomykhailivka over the past day".

Details: Ukrainian Air Force hit the areas of amassment of the enemy’s troops and equipment 18 times over the past 24 hours. Strikes on 13 command posts, areas of concentration of weapons and equipment, and 5 positions of air defence systems are confirmed.

The enemy hit infrastructure facilities with tanks and artillery of different types in following areas:

  • On Kramatorsk front - in the areas of Pryshyb, Tetianivka, Kryva Luka, Ozerne, Pyskunivka, Raihorodok, Starodubivka, Bilohorivka, Siversk, Rozdolivka, Spirne, Mykolaivka, Kramatorsk, Ivano-Darivka, and Verkhnokamianske;
  • On Bakhmut front - in the areas of New-York, Lyman, Mykolaivka Druha, Zaitseve, Odradivka, Soledar, Bakhmut, Bakhmutske, Yakovlivka, Vesele, Sukha Balka, and Vesela Dolyna.
