Quote from Haidai: "They [Russians – ed.] are withdrawing troops to Svatove and Troitske – they are digging in and preparing to defend themselves...
Heavy fighting continues on many fronts, including in the Luhansk region. The Kharkiv[-style] rapid scenario will not be repeated. We will have to fight hard for our Oblast. The Russians are preparing for defence.
However, the Ruscists [Russian soldiers - ed.] have a problem: they are running out of ‘cannon fodder’, so now they are gathering men in prisons."
Details: According to Haidai, a few days after the successful offensive of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in Kharkiv Oblast, and the approach of the Ukrainian military to the administrative border of Luhansk Oblast, representatives of the occupation authorities began to claim that the "situation is under control", in particular, in Kreminna, Sievierodonetsk and Lysychansk.
"At the same time, in Luhansk, the families of the mobilised men held a rally under the walls of the military unit due to the fact that those who barely escaped with their lives from Balakliia [Kharkiv Oblast], had to be immediately sent to other positions in the so-called "DPR" [self-proclaimed Donetsk People’s Republic] the other day. The protesters were supported by relatives who came to the building ", informs Haidai.
‘DPR’ [self-proclaimed Donetsk People’s Republic] the other day. The protesters were supported by relatives who came to the building", Haidai reported.
The head of the Luhansk Oblast Military Administration also reported that during the past day, in order to support the actions of ground groups, the aircraft of the Armed Forces of Ukraine carried out 12 strikes on the places where the invaders’ manpower and equipment were amassed. Six areas of concentration of Russian forces’ manpower, 2 platoon strongholds and 4 positions of anti-aircraft missile systems were hit.
A significant number of servicemen were killed and much of the military equipment of units of the 137th Parachute Regiment of the 106th Parachute Division of the Russian Armed Forces was destroyed on the Bakhmut front.
[Ukraine’s] defence forces continue to successfully repulse the invaders’ attacks, in particular near the settlements of Spirne, Soledar, Maiorsk, Zaitseve, Odradivka, Vesela Dolyna, Vodiane and Novomykhailivka.
Russian soldiers complain that, due to disruptions in logistics, they face shortages in certain types of ammunition for rocket launchers and artillery, but they continue to attack the infrastructure with tanks, mortars and artillery.
In particular, the Russian army opened fire:
- on the Kramatorsk front near Yaremivka, Tetianivka, Raihorodok, Dronivka, Kryva Luka, Siversk, Verkhnokamianske, Zvanivka, Spirne and Bilohorivka;
- on the Bakhmut front near Mykolaivka, Bilohorivka, Yakovlivka, Soledar, Bakhmutske, Hryhorivka, Bakhmut, Mykolaivka Druha, Zaitseve, Niu-York, Yurivka, Vesele, Zaitseve and Sukha Balka.
