Details: Power went off in Kherson and some areas of the Oblast, as Suspilne correspondents reported around 14:17.

The reasons are not yet known.

An air raid alert was announced in Kherson Oblast right before the power outage.

Update: In half an hour after that, the electricity supplies were restored.

Residents of the city say that the power goes off once in two days; the outages last for an hour or two.

According to Yurii Sobolevskyi, the First Deputy Chairman of the Kherson Regional Council, such a situation with the electricity supplies will continue permanently.

"The occupiers are doing something, interrupting the electricity supplies. At the moment there is no quality service," he commented.

Background: On 11 September, electricity went off in Kharkiv Oblast and a number of other Oblasts after the Russian army had hit the Kharkiv Thermal Power Plant-5 and another facility near Kharkiv, using missiles. On 13 September, the power supplies were halted again in Kharkiv and Oblast because the backup line had failed.
