Kremlin has no plans to announce mobilisation despite success of Ukraine's Armed Forces

Russia does not plan to announce either full or partial mobilisation, despite the significant success of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the eastern part of the country. 

Source: TASS, quoting a statement by Dmitry Peskov, Press Secretary of the President of the Russian Federation 

Quote from Peskov: "At the moment – no, we are not considering it [mobilisation - ed.]."

Details: Peskov also added that Russians are "consolidated around all Putin's decisions", and critical statements about the war against Ukraine "must remain within the law".

Background: Andrey Klimov, Head of the Russian Federation Council's Commission for the Protection of State Sovereignty, said that there was no need for military mobilisation in Russia against the backdrop of Russia's losses and defeats in Ukraine.
