From 29 August to 11 September, the Ukrainian IT Army suspended the functions of the following resources:

  • The largest banks of the Russian Federation: due to the paralyzed services of the largest and most important banks of the Russian Federation – Gazprombank, Moscow Credit Bank, Sovkombank – Russians could not use online banking or conduct financial transactions from a smartphone. "What's more, the soldiers of ‘the second army in the world’ could not receive their salaries, their relatives could not receive compensation. They are used to poverty anyway," the Ministry of Digital Transformation reported.
  • Online services of car dealerships. Cyber specialists suspended the operation of the largest online platform for the sale of cars and spare parts: Drom.
  • Electronic document management systems in dairy enterprises. Wholesalers and retailers of dairy products are forced to manually process documents.
  • Russian-aligned news outlets. The cyberattack disabled major Russian propaganda mediaRambler, Gazeta.Ru, and MK. "We notice that some propagandists are already thinking about a truce. Well, it's too late," the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine comments.

"Also, IT specialists made sure that on key Crimean TV channels schoolchildren and students received greetings from the President of Ukraine on the occasion of 1 September [Knowledge Day in post-soviet countries]. We continue to remind Russian temporary residents that they do not belong there, because Crimea is Ukraine," the message says.
