Armed Forces of Ukraine regain control over 20 towns and villages – General Staff report

The Armed Forces of Ukraine have regained control over 20 towns and villages over the course of 11 September. They are undertaking measures to establish full control over those towns and villages and to stabilise the situation there.

Quote: "There is an ongoing threat of further airstrikes and missile strikes on the territory of Ukraine. Over the course of the past 24 hours, the enemy carried out 18 missile strikes and 39 airstrikes on military and civilian targets in Ukraine.
More than 30 cities, towns and villages were affected, including Kramatorsk, Kostiantynivka, Dnipro, Pavlohrad, Velykomykhailivka. Russian forces committed another terrorist act, launching missiles on the Kharkiv Thermal Power Plant, which is the city’s critical infrastructure facility. Several oblasts of Ukraine were left partially without power as a result of the strike."
Details: There were no significant changes on the Volyn and Polissia fronts.
On other fronts, the Russians continued to fire on military and civilian targets using tank guns, mortars, and tubed and rocket artillery:
- On the Sivershchyna front: near Kindrativka (Sumy Oblast);
- On the Kharkiv front: on areas in and around Kostiantynivka and Udy;
- Russian forces did not attack any areas on the Sloviansk front;
- On the Kramatorsk front: areas in and around Tetianivka, Donetske, Raihorodok, Kryva Luka, Verkhnokamianske and Spirne;
- On the Bakhmut front: areas in and around Vesele, Yakovlivka, Soledar, Bakhmutske, Bakhmut, Mykolaivka Druha, Zaitseve;
- On the Avdiivka front: Karlivka, Vodiane, Pervomaiske, Krasnohorivka, Marinka and Novomykhailivka came under Russian fire;
- On the Novopavlivka front: Russian forces fired on areas in and around Prechystivka, Velyki Novosilky, Bohoiavlenka, Neskuchne and Mykilske;
- On the Zaporizhzhia front: near Novosilka, Vremivka, Novopil, Novoandriivka, Poltavka, Huliaipole and Zaliznychne;
- On the Pivdennyi Buh front: the Russians fired on areas in and around Novovoznesenske, Bila Krynytsia, Osokorivka, Velyke Artakove, Sukhyi Stavok, Kostromka, Partyzanske, Bezimenne, Blahodativka, Ivanivka, Zarichne, Bilohirka and Myrne.
The Ukrainian Defence Forces repelled Russian attacks near Maiorsk and Krasnohorivka. Fighting is still underway in the vicinity of Mykolaivka Druha and Zaitseve.
The Armed Forces of Ukraine are continuing to liberate Ukrainian cities, towns and villages in Donetsk and Kharkiv oblasts. As previously reported, Russian forces abandon their positions in haste and are fleeing further into the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine or to the Russian Federation. This pattern seems to continue to hold. For example, over the past 24 hours, Russian occupying forces took their looted goods and stolen cars and fled Velykyi Burluk and Dvorichna in Kharkiv Oblast.
In Luhansk Oblast, Russian military personnel and their families have left the city of Svatove, leaving behind only the rank-and-file personnel and the members of the so-called local "people’s militia".
Overall, the Ukrainian Defence forces were able to regain control over more than 20 cities, towns and villages on 11 September. They are undertaking measures to establish full control over those towns and villages and to stabilise the situation there.
Aircraft of the Ukrainian Air Force carried out eight airstrikes, damaging a platoon's strong point, six areas where Russian military personnel and equipment were concentrated, and an anti-aircraft missile system.
The Ukrainian Armed Forces also destroyed a Russian Orlan-10 UAV, shot down one X-59 guided missile, four Kalibr naval cruise missiles, and five X-101 air-to-surface missiles. Russia’s personnel losses have yet to be confirmed.
