Russians launch 12 missiles on eastern Ukraine, 9 of them shot down by air defence units

On the evening of 11 September, Russians launched 11 cruise missiles on eastern Ukraine; 9 of them were shot down by air defence systems.

Details: It is reported that units of Air Force Command Skhid (East) have shot down 7 cruise missiles in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast.
Among the downed missiles, there are five X-101 and two Kalibr missiles. Two more missiles have been destroyed by units of the Air Force in Poltava Oblast.
Update: The Air Force Command reported that a total of 12 missiles were launched: six Kalibr cruise missiles were launched from ships in the waters of the Black Sea and six X-101 cruise missiles were launched from strategic aircraft from the Caspian Sea area.
Nine out of 12 Russian missiles were shot down by anti-aircraft defence systems of the Ukrainian Defence Forces.
Background: On Sunday evening [11 September], air-raid sirens were sounded across the entire territory of Ukraine, except for Russian-occupied Crimea. Explosions were heard near Kharkiv and in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast.
In several districts of the city of Kharkiv and across Kharkiv Oblast, residents reported lack of electricity due to a strike by the occupiers on infrastructure facilities; power outages were also reported in Poltava and Sumy oblasts.
