Quote: "As a result of our forces’ successful counteroffensive on the Kharkiv front, Russian forces are abandoning their positions in a frenzy and fleeing with their loot to the still-occupied territories [of Ukraine] or to the Russian Federation.

For example, a convoy of two buses, one truck and 19 stolen cars carrying approximately 150 soldiers of the Russian Armed Forces has left Borshchova and Artemivka in Kharkiv Oblast. This is similar to what happened in the city of Svatove in Luhansk Oblast. There, the occupiers hastily abandoned the city, fleeing in four Kamaz trucks, 20 Tigr armoured vehicles and over 20 cars stolen from local residents."

"The occupiers have also withdrawn from their positions in several towns and villages in Kherson Oblast. In light of their considerable personnel losses, Russian troops forced local residents to vacate the Central City Hospital in Nova Kakhovka and are now using the hospital exclusively to treat wounded [Russian] military personnel."

The General Staff also reports that Russian forces are continuing to resort to terrorist tactics, in particular, deploying military personnel in schools and other educational establishments. For example, the Russians converted a school in the village of Liubomyrivka in Zaporizhzhia Oblast into a field hospital; over 100 military personnel are being treated there, and around 10 military vehicles and other equipment have been deployed on its territory.

The Ukrainian Defence Forces have repelled Russian attacks in the vicinity of Velyki Prokhody, Kurdiumivka, Mykolaivka Druha, Zaitseve, Maiorsk, Ozerianivka, Novobakhmutivka, Avdiivka, Pervomaiske and Vodiane.

Ukrainian aircraft carried out five airstrikes over the day to support the operations of ground forces, striking four areas where Russian military personnel and equipment were concentrated. A Russian anti-aircraft missile system was destroyed. Russia’s total losses have yet to be confirmed.
