Ukrainian military is on the outskirts of Lysychansk – Head of Luhansk Oblast Military Administration

Serhii Haidai, the head of the Luhansk Oblast Military Administration, has said that the Ukrainian military is on the outskirts of previously Russian-held Lysychansk.

Details: In a comment to Suspilne, Haidai said that the Ukrainian military was on the outskirts of Lysychansk. He did not provide any details.

However, Haidai hinted at the imminent liberation of Lysychansk in a post on his Facebook page.

Background: The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported on 3 July that after heavy fighting, the Defence Forces of Ukraine had withdrawn from their positions and lines in Lysychansk, Luhansk Oblast.
