Russian occupying forces lost another 14 tanks and 22 artillery systems on 9 September.

Total combat losses of the Russian forces between 24 February and 10 September 2022 are estimated to be as follows [figures in parentheses represent the latest losses - ed.]:

  • approximately 52,250 (+350) military personnel;
  • 2,136 (+14) tanks;
  • 4,584 (+9) armoured combat vehicles;
  • 1,259 (+22) artillery systems;
  • 311 (+5) multiple-launch rocket systems;
  • 162 (+3) air defence systems;
  • 239 (+0) fixed-wing aircraft;
  • 212 (+1) helicopters;
  • 898 (+10) operational-tactical UAVs;
  • 215 (+1) cruise missiles;
  • 15 (+0) ships/boats;
  • 3,426 (+27) vehicles and fuel tankers;
  • 114 (+2) other vehicles and equipment.

Details: Russia suffered its heaviest losses on the Kharkiv and Donetsk fronts.
